Don Achala
System Administrator
Don splits his time between working onsite and from our office, he spends a good part of his week supporting and improving customer's cybersecurity postures.
Don was welcomed to our team in 2022 as a System Administrator. Prior to Don starting with Dulkeith he worked across a number of industries for several years, beginning his career as a support desk officer in Sri Lanka before moving on to work across a number of industries, one of which was working for The Photo Studio Australia where his job as the Systems Administrator was to turn pixels into memories. His motto: “If a picture is worth a thousand words, my backup strategy is worth a million.”
Like all of our staff Don works both onsite at customer sites as well as from our office, during this time Don has taken on the implementation of some projects involving the roll out of single sign on, managing some larger scale hardware procurements and deployments, to more recently working on some of our cybersecurity improvements. Some of the cybersecurity systems that Don has been working on are in an effort to improve our customers cybersecurity posture, implementing new systems and improving existing systems as well as carrying out audits.
To relax away from work, Don enjoys exploring and enjoying new experiences with his wife, he does have a Friday ritual: rum and coke at 4PM, no exceptions!
